Happy Birthday, Clark!

My sweet Clark Michael turned 4 on Wednesday!  Oh my goodness... this child makes life so fun!  He's so over the top, loud, talkative, rambunctious, dramatic, full of energy, and loving.  He loves to snuggle with me so much, and he's very territorial.  He's obsessed with tractors and Bigfoot, and has learned how to swim without a float this summer.  He's quite the daredevil, and he loves to jump off the 10 foot high dive at the pool.  He loves playing with Cooper, but gets frustrated with him rather quickly.  He genuinely loves Abel, but gets jealous of him.  He can be rather whiney at times, and he still needs a nap every day.  He's a terrible eater, beyond terrible actually, but he's got a sweet tooth like his momma.  He loves wrestling on the bed with Andy, and cuddling with me at night.  We're still fighting the pacifier battle, but I'm hoping we'll conquer that soon.  He literally keeps me laughing all day long, even when I feel like I want to pull my hair out because he's wearing me out.

He went to the doctor yesterday, and he weighed 31.9 pounds as was 40 inches tall.  He was healthy, and talked Dr. Meredith's ears off the whole time we were there.  Anyways, I love this child more than anything, and I'm so thankful I was blessed with him 4 years ago!

Here are some pictures I took after he woke up on his birthday.

Bucket List Update

I feel like our summer is quickly coming to an end with school starting so early this year, even though I consider it to still be summer up until Labor Day Weekend (I know it's technically summer longer than that).  I feel like we've done a good bit this summer, and our family vacation knocked a lot off of our bucket list.  As for the remaining items, Andy and I have two NeedtoBreathe concerts coming up!!!, I plan to take the boys to the movies this week or next, there's a food truck festival downtown that I'm going to talk Andy into going to in a couple of weeks, so the farmer's market is the only one that isn't really on my radar yet.
  • Go see a movie
  • Family vacation
  • Watch fireworks
  • Play putt-putt
  • Take family beach pictures
  • Build a sandcastle
  • Go to a farmer's market
  • Find seashells
  • Go to a "new to us" park
  • Try a new restaurant
  • Go to a concert
  • Buy ice cream
  • Buy food from a food truck
  • Make s'mores
  • Go to a splash pad
  • Go to vacation bible school

Abel {4 Months Old}

iPhone Vacation Photos

Since I had Abel in my lab or on my hip for most of our vacation, I didn't get to take as many pictures  with my big camera as I usually do.  I snapped a lot with my phone though, so here are a look at those little jewels!
