Yesterday afternoon we decided we needed to get out of the house. We drove to my favorite spot, Mt. Cove Farms, and hiked. We've never hiked there before, but let me tell you, the trail didn't disappoint! If you're familiar with Mt. Cove Farms, drive ALL the way back to the very back of the property. Right before you start heading up the mountain, there's a small pull-off the right. We parked there and took the trail to the right. The creek right beside the road had water, but the farther back you went, it dried up. We hiked the creek bed and had a great time! There are some caves back there too, but we didn't venture into those. The boys threw rocks until they were exhausted, and I got some great pictures. We also went across the street from where we parked, and the water/creek was a bit deeper on that side. They loved throwing rocks there. We'll definitely be going back this sping/summer!
