Last night was our annual Trunk or Treating night, and it was exhausting as usual. The only one of us who didn't have a meltdown was Abel. The big boys were really good, just hot and exhausted by the end of the night. We had originally bought Abel a lobster costume that was super cute, but it was so hot that we put him in something less involved. Cooper was Darth Vader, or Dark Vader as he calls him, and Clark was the Grinch. They got lots of candy that they don't need, and I have a feeling they'll be over Halloween by the time the real trick or treating rolls around tonight.

Amicalola Falls
On Monday of our fall break this week, Andy took off of work and we headed over to Ellijay to hike and explore. We went to Amicalola State Park, and it was beautiful. I was worn out by the time we left. It wasn't a long hike, but it was straight up and down. The boys handled it like champs though, and Clark only had to be carried a little. Andy had the hard job of toting Abel around. I was surprised at how much water was in the falls since we're in such an extreme drought right now. The trees were just starting to turn a little, so I can imagine how pretty it'll be in a few weeks once they leaves are really changing.
When we left the park, we were going to head to Burt's Pumpkin Farm, but it was extremely crowed. We ended up at an apple orchard that was a bit of a let down, but the boys had fun. Clark found some tractors and Cooper found some animals, so they were both happy. Abel was just happy to be with his mom and dad.
