I started recapping our calendar years on my blog a few years ago, and I love looking back at how we've all grown and changed. 2018 was a great year for us. Everyone remained healthy, we got a new house, and we had a lot of fun as a family. This also makes me realize that our most magical moments are found in the small details of every day life. I pray 2019 will be just as good to us!
January
We started out the new year with a fun trip to the Aquarium.
Cooper had a little surgery to remove a funky looking mole and got clear results.
February
Sweet Abel turned 2.
We went to Disney World for the first time... you have no idea how badly I want to go back!
March
We enjoyed some beautiful spring weather at our favorite Chattanooga outdoor spots.
April
We had a fun Easter with our family.
We met up with some of our Michigan friends for a night of fun.
We sold our sweet little house in Stanford Place.
We moved into our new house in Cloudcrest.
Cooper had his first ever art show display.
We enjoyed countless sunsets from our new back deck.
Cooper started art classes.
May
We went hiking for Mother's Day.
We had fun at field day.
Andy and I celebrated his birthday and our 9 year anniversary in Blue Ridge.
Clark graduated from pre-k.
Cooper finished up 1st grade.
We hit up a lot of playgrounds.
We checked out books at the library.
June
I took updated pictures of the boys.
We went to the movies.
Clark started gymnastics.
I was chosen to write for Chattanooga Moms Blog.
We went to the Hunter Art Museum.
We got ice cream and walked on the bridge.
We had VBS, and Clark got saved.
We went fishing for Father's Day.
We did a lot of swimming.
July
Clark went up at church to let everyone know he'd been saved and wanted to be baptized.
We had a fun 4th of July with our neighbors.
We played with our friends.
We went swimming and hiking with our missionary friends.
We visited our South Carolina cousins.
We took our a family vacation, just the five of us, to Hilton Head Island.
We ended the summer by having a swim day at the YMCA.
Sweet Clark turned 6.
Andy baptized Clark.
August
The boys started kindergarten and second grade, and I moved down to 4th grade.
Cooper had another art show.
We did more hiking and swimming.
We played at Miss Libby's Playground a lot.
My best friend and I went to my 9th NeedtoBreathe concert.
September
We went to Cade's Cove.
We celebrated my 32nd birthday at City Cafe.
Cooper had a brain MRI and got clear results.
We had fun at school.
We hiked Cloundland Canyon.
We played at the Battlefield.
October
Andy had his wisdom teeth removed.
We had a movie night.
I took updated pictures of the boys.
We went to the corn maze.
Clark lost his first tooth.
We attended lots of Halloween festivities.
November
We went to Rock City (twice).
We had Family Reading Day at school.
We decorated the Christmas tree.
We saw Santa.
Our big boy turned 8.
I took new pictures of the grandkids.
We saw lots of Christmas lights.
December
We made Christmas cookies.
We went caroling.
We got our hot tub.
We celebrated Christmas at school.
We celebrated Christmas at home.
We went to Dollywood.
