Abel {6 Months Old}

Abel turned 6 months old this week, and it's so hard to believe he's that old!  He's definitely growing like crazy, and is on track to be our biggest baby, by far!  I had to take him to the doctor on his 6 month birthday for a virus, and he weighed 16 pounds and 5 ounces... that's how much Cooper and Clark weighed when they were one!  He's in 6-9/6-12 month clothes, and loves to eat!  He's still completely formula free, so I'm pumping a lot for him now that I'm back at work. It's hard, but it's worth it!  He nurses/takes a bottle every four hours or so, and he eats baby food a few times a day as well.  He's still having some reflux issues, but he's on Prevacid now, and that's really helped him.

He's learned lots of tricks in the last few months including rolling over, jumping in his jumper, getting super excited when people walk towards him to hold him, pulling hair, grabbing everything in sight, playing with his own little toys, chewing on everything in sight, splashing in the bathtub, pulling plates off the table, sucking his toes (and his thumb still), taking his paci out of his mouth, and much more!  He still prefers to be held over anything, but he's enjoying playing in his bouncers.  He loves taking baths, especially with his brothers, and makes a big mess from splashing.  He still prefers me, but he loves when anyone holds him.  He watches the boys play all day long, and loves when they talk to him.

He's still not a great napper, but he does nap in his bed most days.  He goes to bed around 9:30 or so every night, and it's anyone's guess as to when he'll wake up.  This week he's been getting up around 6am, but some mornings it's later... I wish it was much later!  He's been sick for a few weeks, so that's thrown his sleeping schedule off.

Anyways, he's the sweetest baby, and I wish time would slow down!  Here are some pictures of him from his half year birthday!  He changes every day, but right now I think I'm seeing Cooper more than anyone in his looks.

Clark's 4th Birthday Party

Life has really gotten the best of us lately, so this little blog has taken a major backseat to the daily ins and outs of our life and just trying to survive it.  I document so much of the boys on here though that I've got to get better, so today I'm finally getting around to putting up pictures of Clark's 4th birthday party.

We had Clark's birthday party on July 28th, the day after his 4th birthday.  We had originally planned on having it at a pool, but we ended up having it at Libby's Living Legacy Playground right down the road from our house.  Of course, it hasn't rained any ALL summer, and the floodgates opened up the night of his party.  Clark also had shots a few hours before the festivities, so I just knew the night would be a disaster, but it turned out to be a great party, despite the rain and sore legs.

Back before Christmas, Clark begged for a "tractor with a scoop on the front."  Santa got him one, but really dropped the ball as Santa found a hand-me-down, so he begged for another one.  He had looked at the same one over and over on Amazon for months, so we bought him that one.  I thought sweet boy's heart was going to burst out of his chest when he saw it!  Everyone else really came through in the gift department with tractor and Bigfoot toys, so he was in heaven.

Birthday parties are stressful, to say the least, but I'm always amazed at well they turn out and by how much my babies are loved by all who attend.  Everyone loves Clark so much, and it was definitely evident at his party.
