Abel's 3rd Birthday Interview

We celebrated sweet Abel's 3rd birthday at the beach last weekend.  He was so excited to be there, so he head a great birthday.  I mean, who wouldn't want to spend their birthday at the beach??  

I started interviewing the boys on their birthdays this year, and I'm so glad I did.  I'll always have these sweet videos to look back on so I can remember just how precious they were each year.  He was very excited to do his, so I had to translate a lot of what he's saying!  Here's a copy of his sweet little interview, and a video.  Here are some pictures of him on his actual birthday as well.  I still can't believe he's 3!

Our Myrtle Beach Trip

Happy rainy Wednesday, friends!  As the rain pours outside right now, I'm really wishing I was back at the beach.  We got home last night, and we had a great trip.  It didn't go by too quickly, which was rare as vacations always seem to fly by.  We got to Myrtle Beach late Friday night, so we had Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to play.  We celebrated Abel's birthday down there, and he absolutely loved that.  The weather was cool and overcast (expect for Monday when it was almost perfect in the afternoon), but that didn't keep us from hitting up the beach every day.  We went with Andy's side of the family, and it was nice for all the cousins to be able to play together (there are 14 now with one on the way).  His siblings are spread out (one is in Knoxville, one is in Atlanta, and one is in South Carolina), so we don't get to see them as often as we'd like.  

We also did lots of eating and pool swimming, and we were able to meet up with Andy's best friend from college for breakfast one morning.  He's a surgeon there, so it was wonderful to see him.  

All in all we had a great trip, and we're really looking forward to heading back in June!
